Course Guidelines
Everything you need to know about Dremora's internship program — structure, expectations, conduct, and how we help you succeed.
1. Program Overview
The Dremora IT Internship Program is a real-world, hands-on learning experience designed for aspiring software developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts. Unlike typical internship programs, at Dremora you work on live production projects — building actual systems that impact real users.
Mode: Remote / Hybrid (Pune-based candidates may opt for on-site)
Stipend: Performance-based (details shared during onboarding)
Certification: Completion certificate issued upon successful program completion
2. Eligibility & Selection
To be eligible for Dremora's internship program:
- You must be currently enrolled in or have completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- You must have at least foundational knowledge of programming (any language), web development, or UI/UX design.
- You must be able to commit to the agreed number of hours per week (minimum 20 hrs/week).
- You must complete a brief technical assessment or portfolio review as part of the selection process.
Selection is merit-based. We evaluate applicants on problem-solving ability, learning attitude, and communication skills — not just technical scores.
3. Program Structure
The internship is structured into three phases:
- Phase 1 — Onboarding (Week 1): Introduction to Dremora's tech stack, tools, workflow, and project codebase. Setup development environment and complete orientation tasks.
- Phase 2 — Core Development (Weeks 2–8): Work on assigned features, modules, or projects under mentor guidance. Weekly reviews and code walkthroughs.
- Phase 3 — Capstone & Review (Final 2 weeks): Complete a capstone module, conduct peer reviews, and present your work to the team.
4. Technical Standards
All interns are expected to maintain the following technical standards:
- Write clean, commented, and readable code following Dremora's internal coding conventions.
- Use version control (Git) for all work — commit messages must be clear and descriptive.
- Conduct self-review before submitting any pull request or deliverable.
- Attend all scheduled technical reviews and stand-up meetings.
- Test your code before submission — untested code will be sent back for revision.
- Never push directly to the main branch without mentor approval.
5. Code of Conduct
Dremora fosters a culture of respect, growth, and professionalism. All interns must:
- Treat all team members, mentors, and clients with respect and professionalism at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of all internal projects, client data, and proprietary business information.
- Be honest about progress — if you're stuck, raise it early rather than staying silent.
- Avoid plagiarism — all code and design must be original or properly attributed.
- Not share access credentials, internal documents, or project assets with external parties.
- Report any issues, conflicts, or concerns to the mentor or program lead promptly.
6. Attendance & Communication
- Interns are expected to maintain at least 80% attendance in scheduled meetings and check-ins.
- Inform your mentor at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled session.
- Respond to messages on official communication channels (WhatsApp/Slack/Email) within 4 working hours during business days.
- Daily stand-up updates are required in the intern group — brief summary of what you did, what you plan to do, and any blockers.
7. Evaluation & Certification
Interns are evaluated on the following criteria at the end of the program:
- Technical Quality (40%): Code quality, problem-solving approach, and technical understanding.
- Project Contribution (30%): Actual features built, bugs fixed, and impact delivered.
- Professionalism (20%): Punctuality, communication, teamwork, and conduct.
- Learning & Growth (10%): Demonstrable improvement from start to end of the program.
Interns scoring 70% or above receive a completion certificate and letter of recommendation. Outstanding performers may be offered a full-time or extended role at Dremora.
8. Termination from Program
Dremora reserves the right to terminate an intern's participation in the program due to:
- Repeated violation of the Code of Conduct.
- Persistent non-attendance or non-responsiveness without valid reason.
- Breach of confidentiality or sharing of internal information.
- Plagiarism, dishonesty, or submission of copied work.
In such cases, no certificate will be issued, and the intern will be removed from all internal systems immediately.
