In short

  • One to three months of hands-on work on live project code, remote or hybrid.
  • At least 20 hours a week, with stand-ups, weekly reviews and code walkthroughs.
  • Certificates go to interns who score 70% or above in the final evaluation.
  • Plagiarism, breaking confidentiality or repeated absence ends the internship without a certificate.

1. Program overview

The Dremora IT Internship Program is hands-on training for students who want to become software developers or designers. Interns work on live project code and build features that real users rely on.

  • Duration: 1 to 3 months, depending on the project
  • Mode: remote or hybrid. Candidates in Pune can choose to work on-site.
  • Stipend: performance-based, explained during onboarding
  • Certificate: issued when the program is completed successfully

2. Eligibility and selection

  • You are enrolled in, or have completed, a degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Design or a related field.
  • You have at least basic knowledge of programming (any language), web development or UI design.
  • You can commit to the agreed hours, at least 20 hours a week.
  • You complete a short technical task or portfolio review as part of selection.

Selection is on merit. We look at problem solving, attitude to learning and communication, not only technical scores.

3. Program structure

  1. Onboarding (week 1): our tech stack, tools, workflow and project code. You set up your development environment and finish orientation tasks.
  2. Core development (weeks 2 to 8): assigned features, modules or projects under a mentor, with weekly reviews and code walkthroughs.
  3. Capstone and review (final 2 weeks): a capstone module, peer reviews and a presentation of your work to the team.

4. Technical standards

  • Write clean, readable code with comments where they help, following our coding conventions.
  • Use Git for all work, with clear commit messages.
  • Review your own work before you submit a pull request or deliverable.
  • Attend all scheduled technical reviews and stand-up meetings.
  • Test your code before submitting it. Untested code is sent back for revision.
  • Never push directly to the main branch without your mentor's approval.

5. Code of conduct

  • Treat team members, mentors and clients with respect at all times.
  • Keep internal projects, client data and business information confidential.
  • Be honest about progress. If you are stuck, say so early.
  • Do not plagiarise. All code and design must be your own or properly credited.
  • Do not share passwords, internal documents or project files with anyone outside the team.
  • Report issues, conflicts or concerns to your mentor or the program lead promptly.

6. Attendance and communication

  • Attend at least 80% of scheduled meetings and check-ins.
  • Tell your mentor at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend a session.
  • Reply on official channels (WhatsApp, Slack or email) within 4 working hours on business days.
  • Post a daily stand-up update in the intern group: what you did, what you plan next, and anything blocking you.

8. Leaving the program early

We may end an intern's participation for:

  • repeated breaches of the code of conduct
  • continued absence or no response without a valid reason
  • breach of confidentiality
  • plagiarism, dishonesty or submitting copied work

In these cases no certificate is issued and access to internal systems is removed at once. Program fees and refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
